Psalms 144:15

"Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the Lord."

This is the scripture we wrote on the these mylar balloons before letting them go.  I decided to start of new tradition of letting the kids' birthday balloons go with a scripture on them.  We also included my blog address, it will be interesting to see if someone finds our balloon and then comments on this post.  

Listening

So this morning London was calling my name then covering her ears. It was cute but ironic. 

It made me think of a metaphor. How often do we pray and ask for help, but then get off our knees and get going with our day, rather than pausing to listen for an answer?
